Fix Minecraft lag & stutter in 10 minutes

Lag is three different problems wearing one name. Identify yours first — each has a different fix.

1. Network lag (high ping)

Symptom: players teleport, hits register late, blocks reappear.
Fix: use Ethernet, not Wi-Fi. Close downloads and streams. Pick a server region close to you — check the server list for EU and NA options.
Test: if singleplayer is smooth but multiplayer stutters, it is network, not your PC.

2. GC freezes (0.5s hitches)

Symptom: smooth 200 FPS, then a hard freeze every 10–30 seconds.
Fix: -Xmx2G -Xms2G -XX:+UseG1GC -XX:MaxGCPauseMillis=30. Allocating 8GB+ to old versions makes this WORSE.

3. Low FPS (weak hardware)

Symptom: constantly under 60 FPS, worse in fights.
